Rite Angler's Inline Circle Hook Light is designed to hook and hold. It's well suited to lighter saltwater and freshwater species.
Circle hooks mouth-hook a greater proportion of fish than typical “J” pattern hooks resulting in fewer deep-hooked fish and a higher survival rate for angler released fish.

CIRCLE HOOKS: Manufactured so that the point is turned perpendicularly back to the hook shank. It forms a generally circular, or oval, shape. Various studies have shown that circle hooks mouth-hook a greater proportion of fish than typical “J” pattern hooks. This will increase the survival of angler released fish.
HOOK RATE: High hook and hold rate. Fish have a harder time getting off a circle hook. No hook set required, just reel in the line.
CHOOSING THE SIZE: Match the size of the circle hook to the size of the bait you’ll be using.
CONSERVATION: For conservation of marine life and for the overall effectiveness when live/cut bait fishing, Inline circle hooks increase the chance of you hooking a fish in the lips or jaw. This increases their chance of survival when you release them. The curved shape of the hook helps keep the hook from catching in the gut cavity or throat.
TIP: Don’t bury the hook in the bait. If you hide the hook, it is less likely to catch the corner of the fish’s mouth when you start reeling.
TARGET SPECIES: Great for large Saltwater and Freshwater gamefish.
Great for pairing with our Precut Fluorocarbon Leaders!
