Useful terminal tackle for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. They’re effective for preventing line twisting and kinks with your rigs especially if you’re trolling or casting lures.

Use with heavy tackle, such as 80 or 130 lb. when traditional swivels might fail. They are most typically used to connect a heavy wind-on leader to a short leader or to connect heavy braid or monofilament to heavy leaders, as well as wire-line trolling.
