Rite Angler deep drop rigs are great when going for queen snapper, grouper, yellow eye snapper, snowy grouper, or tilefish. They're suitable for any fish that swim 400 ft. to 2000 ft. down in the deepest parts of the ocean.
The bottom snap is for the lead and the top snap is for a deep drop light. The main line is crimped with round sleeves. The main line is 400lb test mono and the dropper arms with the hooks are 150lb test.
Attach a deep drop light and a baited hook to attract fish to your rig. Find a good spot to set your line down and put your rod in the holder. Reel it up a little so it doesn’t catch the bottom and wait until the rod is heavily bouncing. Hit the switch on your reel and enjoy the fight.
